The idea of remote assistance is fairly simple—a support 'agent' connects to your computer via the internet and controls it directly rather than trying to advise you over the telephone.
This sort of facility has been used by big companies for some years but the growing quality of broadband connections have now made it a feasible technology for small users.
The method does, of course, depends on a working internet connection and the stability of the session is somewhat dependent upon the internet service provider at each end.
There are various ways to provide remote assistance and you should contact us by phone or email to discuss your requirements.
Although we will be operating your computer directly, you have full use of your own mouse and keyboard which enables you to terminate the session at any time.
If we are able to help, our charge is £50 + VAT per hour with a minimum charge of 1 hour.
